DTM-2430 is a smart microprocessor-controlled DC/DC charger that is Euro 5/6 compliant. The DC/DC charger features optimized multi-stage charging that adapts to lead-acid, gel, lithium, and AGM batteries. The battery charger can receive charging power either from the alternator/starter battery or from solar panels. The DTM-2430 has two inputs, allowing the auxiliary battery to be charged either by the engine when the vehicle is running or by solar panels when the vehicle is off. The charger automatically switches to the available charging source.
All functions are built into the DTM-2430, requiring no external fuses or relays. During normal operation, the DC/DC charger completes a full charge cycle to the "float stage" on the auxiliary battery, with the option to choose between lead-acid, gel, lithium, and AGM batteries. Once the "float stage" is reached, the charger switches modes to act as a power supply.
