DTM-1250 is a smart microprocessor controlled DC/DC charger that is Euro 5/6 finished. The DC/DC charger has optimized multi-stage charging that adapts the charge by lead, gel, lithium and AMG batteries.
The battery charger can take the charge from either generator/starter battery or solar panels. DTM-1250 has two inputs and the consumable battery is able to charge through the motor when the vehicle is running or through solar panels when the vehicle is turned off. The battery charger is automatically steered to the charge that is available at the moment. All funktions are built into the DTM-1250 and do not require any external fuses or relays. During normal drift the DC/DC charger carries out a full chargng cycle to ”float stage” on the consumable battery with the possibility to choose between lead, gel, lithium and AGM batteries. When ”float stage” has been achieved the charger changes mode and acts as a power supply.
